Job Description
The Clinical Resource Director plays a critical role in establishing and leading multiple hospital supply expense agendas for the clinical resource management program under the direction of the Division Clinical Resource Director. This position requires driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the healthcare organization's clinical expense agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Division Clinical Resource Director to develop and implement division-based strategies and processes to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission.
- Identify, implement, and execute with the Division Clinical Resource Director, the division supply expense margin improvement plan with a primary focus on high-cost departments, including surgical services, cath lab, EP lab, and special procedures.
- Identify division and facility supply expense variances and develop action plans to mitigate increases in supply expense in collaboration with the Division Clinical Resource Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health Profession required; Master's degree highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical operational hospital or healthcare-related experience preferred.
- Leadership experience (CNO, ACNO, Director, etc.) preferred.
- Multi-facility experience (Integrated Delivery Network, IDN) preferred.
- Supply Chain experience from a clinical perspective preferred;
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis, Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credentials preferred.
