About the Role:
The Clinical Resource Director is responsible for leading the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program for one or more hospitals. They will drive positive change through program definition and lead initiatives that support the healthcare organization's clinical expense agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and optimize the group purchasing organization's contract portfolio;
- Develop and execute product standardization with value analysis committees;
- Identify facility(s) supply expense variances and develop action plans to mitigate an increase in supply expense;
- Participate in monthly operating reports and supply expense planning;
- BUILD STRATEGIC ALLIANCES WITH HOSPITAL LEADERSHIP, PHYSICIANS, AND SUPPLY CHAIN TO EXECUTE SUCCESSFULLY THE CLINICAL SUPPLY EXPENSE PLAN.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health Profession;
- Related experiences in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance - Required;
- Three to five years of value analysis/clinical/hospital leadership experience preferred;
- LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credential preferred.
