Job Description
As a Nuclear Medicine Technol PRN, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will work closely with our team of medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
You will prepare patients for procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and use various imaging equipment to capture images and data. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure will be essential in ensuring the highest quality patient outcomes.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and excellent customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Vocational School Graduate degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- State License in Nuclear Medicine
