Number of Beds – 12 beds
Number of Staff – 5-8
Type of staff : Director, permanent staff, 2-3 RRT’s, per diem help
Patient Ratios – 1 : 1, 2 : 1
Type of equipment – Oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizer, suction machine, CPAP & BIPAP machines
Typical procedures performed : Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, emphysema
Best personality Fit : Team player, close knit team, critical thinker, patient care focus, fast paced
Dress Code : RRT – Scrub Color – Gray Scrubs for Respiratory Therapy
Job Requirements
BLS, ACLS, & PALS are an ABSOLUTE MUST
2 years of current acute care Hospital RRT experience
Stroke Education and experience & NRP preferred
Director prefers candidates with previous Meditech experience
Schedule Information
Day Shift – Director, lead RRT, 2-3 RRT
Night Shift – On-call team, varies on volume
