We are seeking a talented Medical Technologist PRN to join our team, providing expertise and championing results in a hospital-based setting.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, analyzing proficiency testing samples according to instructions, and completing tasks within the allowable time frame.
- Assuming responsibility of the department as appropriate in the absence of the supervisor.
- Completing all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results.
- Performing stat procedures within established turnaround time targets.
- Demonstrating the ability to use good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A 2-Year/Associate Degree or a 4-Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred.
- A State of Florida Technologist License is required OR the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
