Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Job Summary And Qualifications
Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
