Job Summary and Qualifications

You Will :

Perform precise and timely laboratory testing, ensuring compliance with proficiency testing protocols.

Assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.

Maintain meticulous documentation of patient results.

Execute stat procedures within established turnaround times.

Exercise good judgment and independent thinking in the interpretation of patient results.

Review and manage outstanding workload efficiently.

Conduct quality control procedures as per protocol and manage critical specimens / test results.

You Should Have :

A minimum of a 2-Year / Associate degree (4 Year / Bachelor's in Medical Technology preferred).

At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred.

A State of Florida Technologist License is required, or the ability to obtain it during the interview process.

Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is a plus, with Generalist being highly preferred.
