Job Description:
HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist II to join our team. As a Medical Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, assuming responsibility of the department, and completing all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results. You will also perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets and demonstrate the ability to use good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results.
Key Requirements:
- A 2 Year/Associate Degree is required
- A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred
- A State of Florida Technologist License is required OR the ability to obtain a license during the interview process
