Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
About the Role:
You will be an integral part of our team, providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive efficient and effective care. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the flow of patients through triage, screening, and preparation for examination
• Providing general nursing care and arranging testing and admissions as needed
• Instructing patients and families on medications and treatment instructions
• Maintaining and reviewing patients' records, including posting test results and examination findings
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
• Be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or hold compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire)
• Hold a Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
• Possess previous experience in an acute care setting (strongly preferred)
• Hold current certifications in American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
• Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
