Job Summary And Qualifications
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to run diagnostic tests to assist doctors with their diagnoses. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
Essential Functions:
Preparation of EEG through coordinating scheduling of patient and examinations, instructing patients on preparation and examinations, and prepares equipment and gathers supplies prior to exam.
Works with other EEG technicians, clinical coordinator as well as Supervisor, and maintains digital equipment in the EEG lab.
Promotes and displays a positive customer oriented demeanor to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians.
Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or the services delivered.
Demonstrates knowledge of the occurrence reporting system. Uses system to report potential patient safety issues.
Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS at hire required
- National Certification for EEG Preferred
- Completion of an accredited school for Neuro-diagnostics strongly preferred
- Applicable work experience and clinical competency may substitute for education
- A minimum of one year experience preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
