Position Requirements :
Ability to interact with co-workers in a team environment, promoting a harmonious and cooperative working environment.
Effectively communicate with all personnel to exchange accurate and timely technical information.
May assist in communication to customers, departments, or physicians regarding problems and / or specimen issues.
Protects sensitive and confidential information
Adheres to company policies and standards regarding security and safety
Completes assigned courses and training on an annual basis
Available to work during disasters
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND / OR PREFERRED :
High School or GED
Applicable experience may substitute for education
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION :
Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification is not required, but is desirable
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED :
1-3 years in healthcare preferred
