Job Summary And Qualifications
The Endoscopy technician is responsible to the Supervising Nurse on a daily basis. The technician provides safe and effective care, through the performance of specific duties, as the endoscopy technologist during invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs duties according to hospital established policies and procedures of Endoscopy. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Keeps current with techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment; assists with the on-going Performance Improvement Program. After hour departmental coverage (call shifts) are a responsibility of this job.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Endoscopy technician is responsible to the Supervising Nurse on a daily basis. The technician provides safe and effective care, through the performance of specific duties, as the endoscopy technologist during invasive procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Performs duties according to hospital established policies and procedures of Endoscopy. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment for all. Keeps current with techniques, procedures, instruments, supplies and equipment; assists with the on-going Performance Improvement Program. After hour departmental coverage (call shifts) are a responsibility of this job.
What qualifications you will need:
- Less than 1 year of surgical technology/ assisting experience required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
