Anatomic Pathology Assistant

As a Histology Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our histology and cytology procedures. You will perform a variety of tasks related to histology and cytology procedures, including specimen processing/fixation, cell block preparation, embedding, microtomy, slide preparation, routine stains, IHC and special stains, case organization in accordance with department procedures. You will also prepare and maintain reagents for routine stains and histology procedures, perform preventive maintenance on equipment and instrumentation per manufacturer & department procedures and per department schedule, and adhere to department policy with regards to performance and documentation of quality control and quality assurance for instrumentation, equipment, and procedures performed.
