Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Regional Materials Manager to support our ambulatory surgery centers. You will oversee the planning and coordination of instrumentation, supplies and equipment for cases within a variety of centers in a specified region. You will be responsible for maximizing cost effectiveness, monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate and complete records across our centers to support superior patient care. Your goal as a Regional Materials Manager is to provide your centers with a planned, organized and controlled flow of materials.
- You will establish and maintain levels of controls for materials across multiple centers
- Manage purchases for your centers
- You will process accounts payable in conjunction with your Business Office Supervisor
- Establish PAR stock levels for all your centers
- You will be responsible for contract negotiation and pricing
- You will prepare goods for return and ship goods from center to center, as necessary
What you should have for this role
- Some college preferred
- Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred
- Some accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
- BLS may be required per facility standard
