Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary

The Enterprise Mobility Platform Engineer II will provide level three support for VMWare’s WorkSpace One applications. Candidate will be able to work in the Mobile device procurement space as well as supporting MAC book and Chrome book devices

Candidate will support the Enterprise by completing Service Central tickets and customer requests for support. While it is not expected that the candidate be an expert in Device Enrollment and Procurement, the candidate is expected to have a strong capacity for learning new technologies and should be a self-starter.

Candidate is expected to have general technical and operational skills and will work with experienced engineers who are committed to the growth and mentorship process of the candidate as they progress in their career.

Interacts with other IT&S departments to support and promote the strategy for Workspace One platforms. (ITSD, lTG, Information Security, Field IT support staff, Advanced Architecture, DTS community, System Administrator community).

It is a plus if the candidate has a working knowledge of VMWare services. It is not required, but helpful for the candidate to be familiar with the Mac OS systems and both Apple and Android devices. It is also helpful if the candidate has a working knowledge of data analysis and some BI reporting.

Must have strong customer focus, be a team player and display a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, a must. Strong problem-solving abilities and creative approaches.

General Responsibilities

• Provides operational support for VMWare Workspace I applications and Mobile Device procurement

• Supports desktop technology for new projects. Participates, as needed, in technical implementation projects.

• Supports Mac-As-A-Choice and Chromebook

• Works closely with a wide range of personnel to coordinate the implementation and ongoing support of systems used to support the Enterprise

• Coordinates sharing of best practices and policies and procedures.

• Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance.

• Adheres to and supports HCA ITG standards, policies, and procedures.

• Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care.

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience required

• Must have excellent customer service skills; a passion for serving others.

• Team oriented spirit. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills

• Works well with others

• Able to work in more than one area of the team if needed
