Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

Performs echocardiograms, stress tests and other diagnostic tests and procedures in accordance with established procedures for patients from adolescent through geriatric. Responsible for data and charge entry data preparation for physician interpretation. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required upon hire.
• Registered Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible within one year of hire required. Registered Pediatric Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible within one year of date of hire preferred. CCI may be considered.
• Successful completion of an AMA/ACCA approved training program.
• Minimum of 3 years recent hospital or clinical experience preferred. Adult experience required. Pediatric experience preferred. Leadership experience preferred.
