HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge seeks a talented CT Technologist PRN to join our team. As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will use your expertise to produce high-quality images using computed tomography equipment.
About the Job
Your primary responsibility will be to operate the CT scanner, positioning patients correctly and adjusting equipment controls to ensure optimal image quality. You will work closely with medical staff, patients, and employees to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive working environment.
A strong focus on teamwork, communication, and patient satisfaction is essential for success in this role. You will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Position patients correctly and adjust equipment controls to ensure optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
A Registered Radiographer (ARRT) and Registered Computed Tomography Technologist certification are also required for this position.
