Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Department Director, the dosimetrist is responsible for coordinating the job functions of all department employees and supervises the professional and non-professional employees to maximize productivity. Assists with the selection of personnel. Also counsel employees regarding disciplinary actions. Maintains department cost containment and charge audits. Oversees equipment safety and maintenance, and assures the operation of the Quality Assurance Improvement Process of the department. Acts as a communication and education agent for the department. Performs duties as a dosimetrist and special projects as directed.

- ADAC pinnacle treatment planning system
- Eclipse treatment planning system
- GE RT CT simulator
- IMPAC/MOSAIQ
- Varian HDR
- Varian Clinac IX with OBI
- Current registration by ARRT
- Dosimetrist, Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
- Graduate of an AMA approved school for Radiation Therapy Technology
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as Medical Dosimetrist
- At least 1 year experience in 3D radiation therapy treatment planning
