Job Summary And Qualifications
Performs angiography, special procedures and radiological diagnostic procedures/exams. Operates IR equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for exams/procedures. Maintains sterile technique and field. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of Rose Medical Center. Is able to provide care to assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment. Complies with the Staff Expectations, maintains technical skills, IR competencies, and is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety, while maintaining ALARA standards. Secondary responsibilities include clerical duties such as, answering phones, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning. Assists in collecting data and conducting quality control on equipment. Performs any additional duties assigned by the IR Supervisor/CNC. Adheres to the Rose Medical Center iCARE Standards at all times.

What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or an accredited school of nursing-BSN preferred
- Registered Nurse license in the state of CO, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Preferred experience: RN 2-3 years in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, etc), Tech: 1 year diagnostic radiography experience, 1 year in hospital IR experience preferred
