Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs and delivers a physician prescribed radiation therapy treatment on patients, calculates machine settings, simulation, block cutting and assists the physicians with patient care and special procedures. Must know and utilize radiation safety techniques.

Equipment Listing:

• Varian Clinac IX with OBI, Gating and SRS capability
• Varian TrueBeam
• GE RTCT simulator
• ARIA record and verify information system
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT), current ARRT certification or registry eligible
• Vocational School Graduate, graduate of AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Previous experience in Radiation Oncology is preferred.
