Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Patient Access Director (Hospital Based), youareresponsible forthe daily operations of all functions andserveas the liaison between the Shared Services Center (SSC) and the facility.You willintegrate the department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions,develop / implementpolicies and procedures that guide or support service,assessandimprovedepartment performance, andensureorientation and continuing education of departmental staff. As thefacility-basedleader,youmay recommend resources / space needed by the department and mayparticipatein theselectionof outside services.Youinterpret policies and procedures,recommendchanges asappropriate, andproviderelevant feedback to SSC leadership. Youserve as a key promoter of the SSC, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.
