- Perform radiologic technician duties according to competencies.
- Maintain a sound understanding of radiation safety procedures.
- Ensure effective communication with supervisors regarding schedules.
- Conduct imaging in various areas, including diagnostic, OR, and fluoroscopy.
- Stay current on equipment upgrades and working knowledge.
- Remain updated on department schedule changes and protocol updates.
Requirements
- Education from an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Department of Health licensure as a Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (CMRT) in Texas.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) designation.
