Job Summary and Qualifications

The Histology Tech is responsible for processing surgical specimens, body fluids and secretions for microscopic examination and with excellent customer service skills, assists pathologist in gross examination of specimens in a safe manner.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer graduate of two year college program with 1 year(s) training in an accredited school of Histotechnology.
• ASCP certification as HT or HTL or eligible for ASCP with completion within 1 year of hire.
• Prefer 1 year(s) of hospital experience as a Histotechnologist.
