As a Registered Echo/Vascular Technician, you will perform all procedures in the Vascular Lab, i.e., Echo’s Carotid, venous and arterial studies. Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Registered Echo/Vascular Technician, you will perform all procedures in the Vascular Lab, i.e., Echo’s Carotid, venous and arterial studies. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:
- You will manage all assigned supplies and equipment in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- You will complete all appropriate paperwork for physician interpretation.
- You will perform miscellaneous clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, etc.
- You will assist as needed in other related departments such as EKG.
- You will assist in keeping ultrasound equipment and viewing station clean.
- You will assure all equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions.
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Tech Program or equivalent experience is required.
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonographers) RVT, RCDS or RCS registry is required
- One-year experience as a technologist in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
