Job Summary And Qualifications
We are seeking a PRN ED Paramedic for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:
- You will provide supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
- You will perform approved procedures.
- You will take, document, and report vital signs. You will report abnormal results immediately to registered nurse.
- You will take height and weight measurements.
- You will place ECG electrodes and attach ECG monitor correctly and perform EKGs.
- You will assist with setting up oxygen per instructions.
- 1 year of EMT or Paramedic experience required.
- Paramedic certification required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
