Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the general supervision of the Director, PBX Operators monitor telephone console and process incoming and in-house calls in a quick and professional manner. Assists patients and visitors with information and directions to specific areas in the hospital; responds quickly and effectively to all emergency codes using proper hospital procedures, and maintains a professional level of work performance and image for the hospital.

Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the general supervision of the Director, PBX Operators monitor telephone console and process incoming and in-house calls in a quick and professional manner. Assists patients and visitors with information and directions to specific areas in the hospital; responds quickly and effectively to all emergency codes using proper hospital procedures, and maintains a professional level of work performance and image for the hospital.
What You Will Do in Your Role:
- You will answer all incoming & inter-hospital calls within 30 seconds and page over Public Address system.
- You will respond to all emergency codes within 5 seconds and proceeds with appropriate procedures.
- You will assist security by monitoring devices and paging/ calling on SpectraLink phones.
- You will assist and direct all visitors or patients to their specific areas within the hospital.
- High school or equivalent
- 1 year PBX experience or multi-line telephone experience required
