In-Home Caregivers Wanted - Personal Support Specialist

About This Role

As an In-Home Personal Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personal care activities such as:

• Personal Hygiene: Assisting with daily living tasks including bathing, grooming, and toileting.


• Ambulation/Transfers: Safely transferring patients from one location to another, and assisting with walking and mobility.


• Eating: Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients as needed.


• Dressing: Helping patients get dressed and ready for the day.


• Meal Preparation: Preparing meals and snacks according to patient instructions.


• Accompaniment: Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments.


• Light Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.


• One year of experience as a caregiver or home health aide in a healthcare setting.


• The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.


• A valid driver's license and insured automobile (optional but preferred).

Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, bonuses are available for referrals, and we offer a range of benefits including flexibility and recognition.
