What You Bring to the Table
Beck is seeking a qualified Architecture Healthcare Project Executive to join our dynamic healthcare project team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of complex healthcare facilities, ensuring the successful completion of projects from Pre-Design through Construction Administration. Your expertise will contribute to shaping innovative and patient-centered environments that enhance healthcare delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Provide executive-level leadership in managing client relationships, demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare systems, operational workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, medical planning principles, and clinical needs.
- Oversee multiple project budgets, schedules, and programs while maintaining clear project communications, documentation, and team assignments.
- Direct consultant relationships, contracts, and coordination with medical equipment planners, MEP engineers, and other specialty consultants.
- Collaborate with Integrated Project Leaders, Medical Planners, and Construction Teams to align cost estimates, construction sequencing, and constructability with project goals.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of project documentation, emphasizing healthcare-specific requirements such as infection control, patient safety, and accessibility.
- Lead the selection, evaluation, and integration of building systems tailored to the unique needs of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
- Possess a thorough understanding of departmental relationships within a healthcare environment, including inpatient, outpatient, and support services.
- Research, interpret, and comply with healthcare facility design guidelines, including FGI, NFPA, and state-specific regulations.
- Apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes with a focus on healthcare-specific compliance.
- Develop and oversee project manuals that incorporate best practices for healthcare architecture and construction.
- Resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring adherence to healthcare design and operational standards.
- Actively promote and market Beck’s healthcare expertise, fostering long-term client relationships and repeat business.
- Proactively manage project and professional liability, identifying and mitigating risks specific to healthcare projects.
- Work closely with the Project Designer and Medical Planner to realize the project vision, ensuring it aligns with operational efficiency and patient experience.
- Provide high-level leadership to project teams while mentoring and training emerging professionals within the healthcare studio.
- Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and knowledge-sharing environment that enhances Beck’s healthcare practice.

Minimum Requirements:
- 15 years of relevant architecture experience
- 12 years of specialized healthcare project experience
- NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture
- Professional registration (Architectural License)
- ACHA certification preferred but not required
