An Insurance Remit Cashier is primarily responsible for posting all of the insurance checks received to the appropriate accounts and print remits for secondary billing, open, sort, and batch insurance checks. When posting payments-change FC and gives copies to other clerks for secondary billing, balance batches to make sure checks are posted.
GED or High school diploma. Computer training and prior experience in computer medical billing and accounting procedures.
