What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Services Aide- Part Time 44hr/pay position at HCH brand?
Responsibilities: A Nutrition Services Aide assists the cooks and other nutrition services department personnel in areas such as washing dishes, answering the room service phone line, delivering patient trays, food preparation, food storage, cleaning, stocking, and operating the cash register. The Nutrition Services Aide must always follow safe food handling practices. In addition, the employee must understand prescribed therapeutic and modified diets.
Qualifications: It is required that the Nutrition Services Aide must be at least 16 years of age. It is required that the Nutrition Services Aide has the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondences and speak in sentences is also required. It is preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide is ServSafe certified, has a High School diploma or equivalent training or up to one-year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. It is also preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide has Prior experience in food service and commercial food preparation and following prescribed diets.
