Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, our team is in search of a Studio Manager to join our leadership team! Our Studio Manager will work with The STUDIO team to provide our members with an exceptional group fitness experience. Requirements:In joining our team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading initiatives on all things related to The STUDIO, including coordinating and promoting seasonal specialty classes, leading retention-building and utilization strategies, promoting group fitness offerings, and ensuring every guest and member is consistently provided a superior experience
- Managing The STUDIO group fitness schedule to ensure classes are appropriate based on demand and utilization trends, and ensuring quality of classes offered
- Providing customer service to members and guests by responding to feedback, answering questions, and anticipating their needs
- Leading a team of group fitness instructors and desk support staff; includes hiring, training, and developing a team of STUDIO instructors and STUDIO desk staff, including creating and implementing onboarding procedures, setting goals and expectations, improving performance, scheduling, and approving payroll
- Utilizing a team to provide a superior level of upkeep and cleanliness throughout all studio-related spaces and overseeing the timely completion of service requests to ensure the facility and equipment is available and in proper working condition
- Providing useful reporting and tracking of studio class metrics, including developing and managing The STUDIO budget
- Creating and refining SOPs for The STUDIO
- Manage The STUDIO class schedule – editing/adding classes, reviewing current utilization, and assisting with sub requests as needed
- Actively participating in other operational functions of the facility, such as assisting other departments during outside or special events, event setup and coordination, and attending facility scheduled events and meetings

To be a great fit, you’ll have:
- Availability for full-time, on site employment with flexibility to work during events and programs that take place at various times of the day, including weekdays and evenings, and on some holidays and weekends
- 3 Years of experience managing a team with specific experience in the fitness industry; training or group fitness instructor experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and scheduling experience
- High expectations for the quality of your own work; an independent leader who takes initiative to find solutions
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond professionally in tense or difficult situations
- High level writing skills with the ability to compose concise and informative messages and the desire to provide great customer service
- Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills and the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
