What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Low Voltage Estimator position at HCI Systems, Inc?
We are seeking a skilled Jr. Low Voltage Estimator to join our team. In this position you will have a range of responsibilities supporting the Account Executive in preparation of the sales estimate. The person needs to be very detailed and organized and have previous experience or be willing to learn the low voltage trade in commercial construction.
Pay Range: $50,000.00-$60,000.00/YR

Primary Responsibilities
- Work with multiple Account Executives on multiple projects to prepare takeoffs and labor and material estimates by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Develop accurate detailed estimates of material amounts and cost of labor to complete the installation of various low voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, video, intrusion, structured cable, and 2-way communication systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, floor plans, wiring diagrams and specifications.
- High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, success driven, have strong organizational skills, a multi-tasker, reliable, self-determined and have excellent follow up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
