Title: Senior BlueCat Network & DNS Engineer (Infrastructure)
Initial six months, transitioning to Full-Time Employment
Hybrid - NYC office one week every six weeks.
On-call support required one week every six weeks.
Visa Requirements: Cannot sponsor Visa need to be USC

Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network & DNS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, specializing in DNS architecture and administration.
Key Skills Required:
- Expertise in BlueCat Address Manager (IPAM)
- Proficient in BlueCat DNS/DHCP Services
- Experience with BlueCat Edge DNS
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support DNS solutions utilizing BlueCat products.
- Configure and manage DNS zones, records, policies, and profiles.
- Monitor and enhance DNS performance, availability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues and incidents.
- Ensure DNS security and compliance with industry standards.
- Document DNS configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Manage network capacity and facilitate infrastructure integration.
- Deliver network infrastructure in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with operational teams to address issues and propose solutions.
- Provide production support as necessary.
- Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of experience in network engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in DNS administration and engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years working with BlueCat DNS products.
- Experience in fast-paced environments supporting real-time data and trading.
- Relevant certifications or training preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- BlueCat DNS certifications are a plus.
