Role/Responsibilities

• A Tableau Administrator should play a crucial role in managing and maintaining Tableau Server and its environment.:
• Migration: candidate should have hands on experience on Tableau cloud and also must possess migration experience from Tableau Server to Tableau cloud.
• Installation and Configuration: Setting up Tableau Server, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading across different environments.
• User and Group Management: Managing users, groups, and their integration with Active Directory.
• Server Management: Overseeing server management tasks such as clustering, load balancing, and user management.
• Automation: Automating monitoring and server job processes.
• Licensing: Handling Tableau licensing and ensuring compliance.
• Backup and Restoration: Performing backups and restoration of the Tableau repository.
• Security and Permissions: Managing permissions for users and groups to ensure data security.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitoring server activity and usage statistics to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Support and Documentation: Providing support to users and setting up documentation for policies and procedures.
• Candidate should ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of Tableau Server/Tableau cloud, supporting the organization's data visualization and analytics needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Engineering degree with at least 2 years of focused Tableau administration and development experience and total 4 years of Tableau experience in an IT Department, preferably within a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Team and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience in data analysis and creating data sets from multiple source systems
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud technologies
• Experienced in tabcmd/tsm command-line functions, performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools/commands ( TabMon, PerfMon, LogShark, VizAlerts)
• Experience with Tableau Admin Views
• Hands on Experience on Tableau Cloud Architecture
• Experience with Tableau Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau cloud platform and its functionalities
• Experienced in structured query language
• Excellent communication , problem solving & documentation skills

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $68,000.00 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $110,000.00 per year

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
