As a BigFix Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in both pre-sales and post-sales processes, providing technical expertise and support to clients using HCL s BigFix solutions. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their technical and business needs, ensuring that every necessary detail is gathered to craft the best possible solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure the long-term success of client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements. Ensure all necessary information is gathered before creating a tailored solution.
Technical Solutions: Provide high-quality, professional technical solutions that meet client needs and align with agreed-upon timelines.
Presentations & Training: Confidently deliver technical presentations to internal teams, customers, and partners. Provide training on BigFix solutions and ongoing support.
Documentation: Create comprehensive design and configuration documentation, including technical network diagrams and detailed explanations.
Feedback Loop: Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide valuable feedback on product issues and contribute ideas for new product developments.
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships both internally and externally, maintaining clear communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Technical Development: Participate in technical development as part of the design and development process to benefit both customers and the internal team.
Solution Selling: Articulate business drivers and risks for customers, presenting technical solutions with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports, bid reviews, and project forecasts.
Product Demos: Create and deliver technical demos to enable product sellers and support their efforts.
Experience & Skills:
3 years of experience in a combination of systems administration, endpoint operations/management, and cybersecurity, gained either in IT roles or Sales Engineering.
Hands-on experience across multiple operating systems and basic knowledge of scripting languages.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think creatively, and solve complex problems.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently deliver technical information to a variety of audiences.
Experience in designing and documenting technical solutions, including network diagrams.
Ability to understand customer business drivers, and tailor technical solutions accordingly.
Proven experience in building productive internal and external relationships.
