Senior Technical Lead with Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management
Job Summary
In this role, the Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management. The primary focus will be on optimizing costs, fostering effective collaboration with suppliers, and enhancing the performance and relationships with suppliers. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the component cost estimation process to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for components.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and agreements that benefit the organization.
3. Develop and implement strategies to manage and improve relationships with suppliers.
4. Monitor supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance supplier performance.
5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross functional teams on cost estimation, collaboration, negotiation, and supplier development.
Skill Requirements
1. Component cost estimation:
2. Strong analytical skills to accurately estimate component costs.
3. Knowledge of cost estimation tools and methodologies.
4. Supplier collaboration and negotiation:
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
6. Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
7. Supplier development & management:
8. Ability to develop and execute supplier development strategies.
9. Strong project management skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Supply Chain Management or Procurement are a plus.
