This role involves developing manufacturing processes and technologies, including process characterization, to drive efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical devices - Manufacturing Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating process and design alternatives based on Design for Manufacturability principles, as well as working within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Evaluate process alternatives and make recommendations based on Design for Manufacturability principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Analyze data using tools like Minitab to inform decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical devices - Manufacturing Engineering.
