Gastroenterologist
Compensation: Competitive guaranteed salary, commensurate with experience Bonus: 100% of the practice profits
Job Type: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Weekly duties split evenly between outpatient clinic and hospital-based endoscopy procedures. Call required 7 days per month (1 week/month), shared with general surgeons and fellow gastroenterologist. Additional compensation provided for extra cal.
Our client, a respected medical center in Georgia, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join their clinic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong support and room for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations to assess gastrointestinal health concerns
- Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic tests
- Recommend and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with referring physicians and other specialists as needed (e.g., oncologists)
- Review and analyze patient medical history and test results
- Perform a variety of endoscopic and imaging procedures
- Conduct surgical interventions within the digestive tract when necessary

- Capsule Endoscopy
- ERCP Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography
- Bravo 48-Hour pH Monitor

Job Requirements:
- Completion or upcoming completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible (must achieve board certification within 5 years if eligible)
