Compensation : $155,000 - $182,000 / year

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our clients healthcare team in Indianapolis, Indiana . In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient care , ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. You will play a vital role in medication safety, patient education, and care transitions while collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Medication Dispensing : Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient care while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Order Verification : Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness before dispensing.
• Patient Education : Counsel patients and families on medication usage, side effects, and adherence strategies to improve health outcomes.
• Care Coordination : Assist with medication education and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Regulatory Compliance : Maintain adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations and hospital medication policies.
• Controlled Substances Management : Oversee handling, inventory, and documentation of controlled substances.
