General Statement of Duties
This position plays a key role in supporting the onboarding and orientation process by assisting with fingerprinting, taking photographs, and creating identification badges. The role also provides administrative support to help ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Ideal for someone who enjoys routine, takes initiative, and thrives in a supportive role. Strong attention to detail, clear communication and confidentiality are essential. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed
Essential Duties
o Conduct fingerprinting and taking photographs for new and existing HCPS employees
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with computers – experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook preferred; must have the ability to learn and effectively use a variety of software packages; must also have the ability to keep accurate records and use good decision-making skills. This position operates in an environment with a high stress level, good crisis management skills are important along with good analytical skills and the ability to effectively evaluate situations and respond quickly.
The ability to work as a team member to ensure the unit is meeting standards for data input, processing and retrieval. The incumbent must have excellent oral and written communication skills plus a proven track record in customer service skills, research skills and the ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision, along with the ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive material and information is required. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and bring a positive attitude to work on a regular basis knowing that your contribution to the team matters.
Graduation from high school and related work experience; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; previous HR experience is preferred.
Additional Information
$17.31 per hour. This is a temporary position. Cannot work more than 29 hours per week.
