We are looking for a Chiropractor who is passionate about working closely with patients, creating long term relationships with them while providing high-quality, individualized care. - Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports) Assess posture, range of motion, strength, and functional movement patterns.
- Take and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
- Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
- Identify biomechanical dysfunctions, injuries, or disorders related to the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system.
- Differentiate between conditions that are treatable through chiropractic/PT care and those requiring referral to other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
- Patient education as to diagnosis, 1-1 Patient Report of Finding, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and benefits of continued chiropractic care
- Treatment- Chiropractic Care- adjustments (diversified, activator, drop, SOT, Flexion/Distraction), Physical therapy/rehab, manual therapies and modalities
- Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
- Work cooperatively with the team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments (Establish short- and long-term goals focusing on pain relief, functional restoration, and injury prevention.
- Get authorizations on patients as needed
- Overseeing staff when lead doctor isn’t present.
- Helping set patients up on therapy
- Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
- Active Chiropractic license in MD
- License to practice physical therapy
- Full time (Monday- Friday with ½ days on T/Th)
- $80k-$90k to start plus bonuses
