We are looking for a motivated Medical Assistant to join our practice full time in Upper Darby, PA. We are looking for a medical office assistant who has experience in helping patients, to assist with setting the patients up on therapies (stim, traction, laser, hydrotherapy etc)- someone who can interact with patients, with professional attitude and demeanor. Must have basic computer skills, such as writing with Word. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus! We are looking for a team player, who is reliable, friendly and enjoys helping others reach their health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out of the office- Greeting patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
- Answering any questions the patient may have before, during, and after care
- Educating patients on procedures and testing
- Assist with therapies, set the patients up on a variety of modalities and therapies and supervise care (stim, traction, hydrotherapy, cryotherapy (ice pack), or heating pads, and supervising the patient on the knee flexion/extension equipment) We will provide training
- Maintain a clean and orderly therapy room
- Entering brief notes on the patients computer file
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
- Experience with medical assisting preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus
- Must have basic computer skills
- Full time (Mon-Friday)
- $22/hr
- Bonus Compensation- end of year bonus based on performance
