Physical Therapist Brooklyn NYWe are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Brooklyn NY. Our team is collaborative with a comprehensive approach, working to not only enhance physical health but also improve overall quality of life. The incoming Physical Therapist should feel comfortable treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, have excellent communication and documentation skills, and value working in a multi-disciplinary setting. That’s why we offer a multifaceted approach, combining traditional physical therapy, Pilates, and manual therapy for maximum relief from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Our physical therapists offer 1:1 session to ensure that patients are receiving individualized attention and quality care. They are supported by an integrated team including chiropractors, massage therapy,interventional pain management, clinical nutritionists, and functional medicine to ensure that each patient gets personalized care tailored to their needs.Duties:
- Patient consultation- Review health and medical histories, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and physical examinations
- Implementing physical therapy treatment programs and discharge planning based on each patient's particular needs
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
- Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
- Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
- Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals and admin staff for comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the practice
- Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
- Attend staff meetings as needed
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (DPT preferred)
- PT License in NY
- Recent grads welcome to apply
- Full time
- $85k-$100k (Depending on experience)
