Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EM 385-1-1, and other industry regulations.
- Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Provide safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and leadership teams.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, providing recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
- Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Teams to promote a safety-first culture.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-job briefings to reinforce best practices.
- Monitor and enforce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and safety drills.
- Collaborate with insurance providers and risk management teams to reduce workplace incidents.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Support incident reporting, claims management, and return-to-work programs.
- Analyze safety metrics and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
