Social Emotional Support Coach
This position provides individual and/or group coaching and support to educators in the area of social-emotional development in children ages birth to 5. A position working directly with staff on preventative strategies and interventions to promote healthy social and emotional development and reduce the impact of stress and trauma in the lives of Head Start children and families.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, or a related field is required.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.

- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills.

Additional Requirements
- Dependable transportation, including necessary automobile insurance, is required.
- Maintain current valid driver’s license.
- Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Section 51-A, the Social Emotional Support Coach is a mandated reporter and held to the statutory reporting requirements.
Starting Pay: $28.98 per hour
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Full Year: 52 weeks per year
