Transportation Supervisor
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of bus drivers and bus monitors. The Transportation Supervisor assists with vehicle service maintenance, minor fleet repairs, staff safety meetings and in-service trainings, on-going bus observations, ensuring transportation safety measures are adhered to and monitored, assist in on-boarding new staff, check bus routes and stops safety as well as transport of children to and from school as a substitute bus driver, as needed.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License with School Bus Endorsement “S” and Passenger Endorsement “P”.
- School Bus Driver’s Certificate.
- School Bus Driver Instructor Certificate.
Experience
- One Year Supervisory Experience required.
- Driving record free of any moving violations within the last five years.
Skills
- Strong computer/database skills especially with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong oral and written communication.
Starting Pay: $27.12 per hour
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Full Year: 52 weeks per year
