What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blood Bank Lot Release Staff position at HCSC?

We are looking for an individual who would like to be a part of the process of delivering high-quality lifesaving blood products to our partnering hospitals. Hospitals rely on us to deliver the highest quality blood products for transfusion to their patients.
This position reviews all donor history questionnaires to ensure the donors meet eligibility and suitability requirements. The position is responsible to identify and investigate duplicate donors and clarify any missing information in a timely manner.
If you have:
- Great attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
- Computer and Microsoft Office Software Proficiency
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma
- 2 years' experience working in healthcare and/or a blood bank - preferred, but not required
Hours: Position is part time
