This position provides general support to the Blood Center Collections Department. Responsible for keeping departments databases, creating charts, sending monthly reports, assisting with filing and scanning, and entering documents and feedback for staff. Ensures compliance with all department related documents and validations. Responsible for writing, revising and validating SOPs. Ensure all SOPs are up to date and in compliance with MKBC policies, FDA Guidance and AABB requirements. Performs final review of training documents to ensure compliance with all policies.
Experience and Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent ability to understand and use software relevant to the position
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to Detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of employees.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting preferred.
Hours:
Full-time - 8am-4pm
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provides clerical support to the assigned departments
- Track and issue summary reports as requested by any department
- Enters all off-line Automated Collections procedure information into Vista. Maintains the apheresis donor platelet counts and WBC count
- Generates and resolves CQIs
- Prepare reports, statistical data, forms, questionnaires and surveys as necessary
- File and record maintenance

PAY and BONUSES:
- Starting at $14.00 per hour
- Annual increases
- New Hire Bonuses: You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.
