What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Blood Drive Assistant position at HCSC?
Company Background: At Miller-Keystone Blood Center, our mission is to save lives by partnering with our community to provide a continuous supply of blood services to our community.
Position Summary: Our Mobile Drive Assistants are responsible for assuring supplies and equipment are prepared for all mobile blood drives. They assist with inventory including ordering, receiving, distribution, stocking, and waste collection. They maintain all DIN labels and vehicle form boxes for mobile drives and vehicles. They print all applicable paperwork necessary for mobile blood drives.
** HOURS:
- Part-time - working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - for 3 hours each workday
Qualifications:
· Ability and willingness to drive in all weather conditions
· Ability to follow all MKBC SOP's and follow written and oral instructions
· Ability to prioritize and organize and carry tasks through to completion
· Able to work with minimal supervision
· A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required; CDL license is a plus
