The Donor Collections Manager (Phlebotomy Manager) position supports the Blood Center by supervising Collections staff and ensuring successful Collection events and providing an amazing donor experience. The anticipated salary starts at $58,500 annually and is commensurate with experience. In addition, Miller-Keystone offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:
- Managing Collections staff, including evaluating competencies and annual reviews
- Providing guidance utilizing in-depth knowledge of procedures for both whole blood collection and collection utilizing a TRIMA system
- Resolving CQIs and training staff to prevent future errors
- Monitoring of equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Visitation to other Miller-Keystone sites at least twice per month in the Greater Lehigh Valley area, Pittston, PA, Reading, PA, and Trenton, NJ
What you will bring to the role:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is required.
- 3 years' experience managing in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain a low error rate.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage with donors and employees of all backgrounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.
Additional information:
This position reports directly to the Director of Collections at our Bethlehem location and will be responsible for adhering to the following schedule:
- Core Hours: M-F; 8am - 4pm
- On-call to cover off-hours, weekends, and holidays
